Busy, busy busy.

So after a couple of weeks of doing not very much, I have just had the busiest week.


My new stuff.

 Last Friday my mum and I took a trip to London where we went to a.. well, I don't really have a word for it, so I'll just say a physics thing. Basically I am taking physics for A-level next year and we thought it would be interesting. (It kind of wasn't, except for the cute, nerdy physics guy who explained the whole concept of the universe to us. Luckily I had some coffee so I was capable of taking at least some of it in.) We did some shopping and then we had to rush back home to pick up the little sister from her three-day trip away with school. She was muddy, tired and when we unpacked her suitcase, smuggling much of my wardrobe with her. Then I spent the evening with friends at a festival and saw Kids In Glass Houses who were AMAZING!

On Saturday night I went to a girly sleepover with some other friends and watched loads of movies which I'm planning to write posts on soon to schedule for when I'm in Spain. Sunday was a chilled out day with the little sister. We watched The Holiday and for some reason that put me in a Christmassy mood so I made some Christmas muffins. (I am aware it's July but I'm normally the person who starts singing carols in April so its not really out of character.)

Tea + muffin = heaven.

Then from Tuesday to Thursday I visited my grandparents by the beach which was fun. Lots of ice cream, paddling and watching old films with them. I got back home to find I had many voicemails and a job interview to go to!! I was so excited - click here for the full story of my job hunting efforts - and now have a trial shift to do tomorrow.
